For this month we have added some outstanding Oriental Papilios including PAPILIO KRISHNA CHARLESI, ELWESI, ARCTURUS, males and females, POLYCTOR STOCKLEYI, SYFANIUS,
MAACKII MAACKII and others. From South America we have some spectacular Morphos, Caligos and Nymphalidae such as MORPHO HELENA, CYPRIS, MELACHEILUS PUCALLPENSIS, CALIGO EURILOCHUS, IDOMENEUS, PLACIDIANUS and ILLIONIUS, ERYPHANIS AUTOMEDON; also BATESIA HYPOCHLORA pairs, PREPONA PRAENESTE, ASTEROPE LEPRIEURI.
We are very pleased to offer a selection of scarce Delias including, MARGUERITA, FASCELIS IBELANA, LEUCIAS ROSAMONTANA, among others. From the USA we have a nice selection of the Limenitis complex including ARTHEMIS, ASTYANAX, RUBROMARGINATA and some interesting hybrids of the first two. Also exceptionally large pairs of the most desireable SPEYERIA DIANA with extra large females.
This month we have a nice selection of large Thysannia agrippina ranging in size from 8-1/2" to 9-1/2".
These are just some highlights of the many interesting butterflies we are offering.
Of special note is an outstanding selection of Bernard D'Abrera's monumental "Butterflies of the World" in as new condition but well below new prices. Among them are most of the volumes of the Neotropical and Oriental region as well as the Australian region. Please see our "PUBLICATIONS SECTION'" for full details.
